Celebrities represented in Joanne’s show include David Lee Roth, Carla Bruni, Heidi Klum, Alek Wek, Madonna, Goldie Hawn and Demi Moore as well as several leading supermodels. For those who would like to see Joanne at work, she will be on site on Saturday, September 21st at the opening reception doing a live body painting. This is a must see event!

“I started Photo Impact in 1980,” explains Don Weinstein, “to bring a more personal and creative Black+White lab to the lab to the LA photography scene.” Much has changed in the industry over the past several years. “I’m proud of what Photo Impact has become. Not in my wildest dreams did I expect to become a full service photo lab that also features art exhibitions of renowned photographers and artists from around the world.”

“I first became aware of Joanne’s amazing body art when she painted Demi Moore for the cover of Vanity Fair a few years back,” says Don Weinstein, owner of Photo Impact. “I remember discussing with my wife,” he continues, “how she would love to be painted by Joanne.” Don made a mental note to track Joanne down one day and work with her. Bruce Kramer, owner of 5th & Sunset Studios approached Don to see if he was interested in working on a project with Joanne for her museum show in Auckland, New Zealand. “Not to mention that I instantly remembered my mental note that I made about Joanne a few years ago, I found the project intriguing.” The professional level of photography combined with Joanne’s imagination and amount of detail given to her artistry was awesome. The project, which entailed digitally printing many of her body art images was a unique journey. Photo Impact’s and Joanne’s combined effort is here on display for all to enjoy!

“The scope of Joanne’s body painting is an intriguing range of diversity, from an eye to extreme body suits, she can do it all.”
