Art for Art
Raising funds can quite possibly be the most difficult step in film-making. Actor Jeremy Garrett of the WB's Jack and Jill, and currently Ally Mcbeal, is in the process of a very unique and diverse fund-raising venture: Art for Art. In an effort to further the creative process, Garrett has chosen to sell his still pictures to raise first funds for his short motion picture entitled, "La Recette," a film Garrett wrote, and will direct. Garrett's collection consists of 27 black and white images from nine cities in Europe taken over the past six years. Paris, Prague, Vienna, Copenhagen, Cannes, Rome, Florence, Milan, and London. Garrett grew up in San Diego California.
Art for Art is on display at Photo Impact in Hollywood through January 10th 2002.
